The Honourable Ralph Goodale is making an appearance at the Canadian Club of Regina this afternoon.
Goodale is Canada’s High Commissioner to the UK, and has been playing a huge role in the trade issues that have cropped up between Canada and the UK.
Before that, Goodale was the MP for Regina Wascana, and a cabinet minister holding portfolios like Agriculture, Public Safety and Finance.
Goodale also served in the Saskatchewan legislature early in his political career, representing Assiniboia and Gravelbourg.
Goodale is expected to have a brief talk on trade, as well as take part in a question and answer session with journalist Will Chabun.
The event talks place this afternoon in the Agra Torchinsky Salon at the MacKenzie Art Gallery. There is a short reception at 3:30pm, followed by the speech and Q and A at 4:00pm.
