The City of Regina will hold a public information session about the Dewdney Avenue Corridor Revitalization Project.
The upcoming two-year major construction project between Albert Street and Broad Street in the Warehouse District will replace aging underground infrastructure.
The project is set to provide an opportunity to revitalize the surface, including a new road, sidewalks, lighting, patio space and landscaping. These infrastructure improvements will transform this section of Dewdney Avenue into a more aesthetically pleasing and vibrant corridor for the public, with improved pedestrian and driver safety.
Construction is scheduled through the 2023 and 2024 construction seasons and will be phased to maintain traffic along Dewdney Avenue to minimize impacts to residents, businesses and commuters.
With construction upcoming this spring, the City is hosting a public information session to showcase the final design for the project.
The session is set for Tuesday, March 28, from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. at the Docks in the Weston Bakeries Building at 1377 Hamilton Street.
