Sask. RCMP is looking for assistance to find a wanted Manitoba man.
On Monday night, began a traffic stop with a truck in Aylsham. The driver did not stop and fled the scene. He continued southbound and was last seen by police at around 10:00 pm.
On Tuesday, police discovered the missing truck abandoned inside of the RM of Bjorkdale. After a police investigation, it was determined the truck was stolen.
As a result 31 year old Matthew Barker of Swan River is facing several charges including possession of stolen property.
Barker is described as being 5’11” tall, approximately 250 lbs, with black hair and brown eyes. Barker has numerous tattoos on his forearms and a large tattoo on his neck.
