It’s only been available for one day, but as of 4:00 PM on Thursday, over 4,300 people over the age of 85 have booked their COVID-19 vaccines.
The Saskatchewan Health Authority says roughly 70 percent of appointments have been made online so far.
The average wait time for the phone is about an hour and a half, either on hold or waiting for a call-back.
Over 4,500 calls have been received so far, with some of the calls being from people who are ineligible, wanting to confirm an existing appointment or those seeking information on the COVID-19 vaccine.
