The Regina Humane Society’s 32nd annual telethon goes Sunday night.
The shelter is hoping the event, which can be seen on Access Communications and streamed on their website, can see $65,000 get raised to help with the many things besides adoptions that go on.
“The Telethon is really a celebration of what this community has done, and can do, to help animals in need”, says RHS spokesperson Bill Thorn. “We want to show our supporters some of the success stories that they made happen, but also highlight that we must continue to be there when an animal needs it most”.
The event runs from 6-9.
