SASKATOON – The Saskatoon Police Service Hate Crimes Unit is investigating a hate-related incident that occurred April 3.
SPS says it was reported to them that, during a meeting on the University of Saskatchewan campus involving online participants, a technical breach occurred. Unknown suspect(s) online displayed inappropriate images and video while voicing hateful rhetoric over the meeting.
Working in conjunction with U of S Protective Services, members of the SPS Hate Crimes Unit are investigating the incident as Wilful Promotion of Hatred.
