PRINCE ALBERT — Update: The Prince Albert Police Service is advising the public of a multi-agency search for Dilbert Thomas taking place in Prince Albert on Monday, March 19.
Members of the Prince Albert Police Service will be participating in the search led by Search and Rescue Saskatchewan Association of Volunteers (SARSAV). Police will also be participating in coordinating efforts. There are expected to be more than 40 volunteers participating in the search.
The search is scheduled to begin at 9 a.m. on May 19 and will be taking place between 42nd Street East and 48th Street East to Central Avenue.
Anyone with information on the whereabouts of Dilbert Thomas is asked to contact police at 306-953-4222.

Update (April 24, 3 p.m.): The Prince Albert Police Service is once again asking for the public’s assistance in the missing person investigation into the disappearance of Dilbert Thomas.
Through continued investigation, officers were able to obtain video surveillance of Thomas walking by himself in the 4100 block of 5th Avenue East. With the assistance of the Prince Albert Grand Council Search and Rescue Team, police continue to search the area where Thomas was last seen.
The Prince Albert Police Service is now asking business owners in the area of the 3800 to 4800 block of 5th Avenue East to check their compounds and equipment in an attempt to locate Thomas. Anyone with information that may assist in this investigation is asked to contact police at 306-953-4222. Update (April 16, 7:20 p.m.): Police are asking for the public’s help in identifying a man who was last seen with missing 62-year-old Dilbert Thomas, as the search for the Prince Albert resident continues.
Thomas was last seen at approximately 9:40 p.m. on March 30 in the 3600 block of 2nd Avenue West. The Prince Albert Police Service has released a photo of an unknown male who was with him at that time, and who may have information that could help locate Thomas.
Police say the man is not considered a suspect.
He is described as tall and slender, wearing black shoes with white soles, black pants, a black jacket and a black toque with white lettering or a symbol on the front. He was also carrying a blue cloth Walmart bag.

PRINCE ALBERT – The Prince Albert Police Service is renewing its request for public assistance in locating missing 62-year-old, Delbert Thomas.
Through investigation, officers were able to obtain video surveillance of Delbert Thomas in Prince Albert on March 30.
Delbert Thomas was last seen on that video surveillance on March 30 leaving a business in the 3200 block of 2nd Avenue West at approximately 9:20 p.m.
He was last seen wearing a black jacket, dark blue pants with white stripes at the bottom, and black glasses. He is described as male, 5’8, approximately 210 pounds, with black hair, and dark brown eyes.
Police are continuing to investigate and anyone with information that may assist in this investigation is asked to contact police at 306-953-4222 or submit a tip anonymously to Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477. Confidential tips can also be reported online to Prince Albert Crime Stoppers.
