Dillon Whitehawk was sentenced to life in prison with no chance of parole for 25 years due to his role in the death of Keesha Bitternose.
Whitehawk, 28, was charged with second-degree murder for his role in the death in December of last year. Second-degree murder comes with a mandatory sentence of life in prison.
Bitternose was murdered in a North Central home on January 2, 2020. Police would find her body inside the house days later, on January 5. She had more than 100 wounds on her body, with a forensics pathologist being unable to pinpoint the exact injury that caused her death.
Whitehawk did not act alone in Bitternose’s death, as Kelly Stonechild and Kurt Thomas both previously pleaded guilty to manslaughter for their roles. They were sentenced to seven and 18 years in prison.
Bitternose is the third person that Whitehawk has been convicted of killing, with all three happening between November 2019 and January 2020.
Whitehawk was convicted of first-degree murder in the 2019 shooting deaths of Jordan Denton and Keenan Toto last year.
He is currently serving a pair of life sentences for those murders.
