REGINA — Dozens gathered in Victoria Park on May 14 to honour victims and survivors of violence during the seventh annual Hearts in the Park event.
Hosted by the Circle Project, the Regina Police Service and Family Service Regina, the event coincides with Victims and Survivors of Crime Week, observed this year from May 11 to 17.
The event also featured speakers from local service organizations and advocacy groups, offering information on how to identify signs of violence and provide support to those in need.

Organizers say the event is an opportunity for survivors, allies and community members to come together, reflect and stand united against violence.
