The 30th Annual Assiniboia Spring Fever Lotto came to a close this past weekend with the remaining 54 draws being made at Nelson GM Sunday Afternoon. Over the years the lotto has assisted with community upgrades, most notably in aiding in the construction of the Southland Co-op Hockey Arena.
This year, the lotto is assisting in the purchase of a new ice resurfacer for the arena. The lotto is completely volunteer run with all proceeds being donated back to Assiniboia and surrounding area.
