Two La Ronge men have been charged with first degree murder in the death of a 32-year-old man from La Ronge and Stanley Mission.
At 4 a.m. Tuesday, La Ronge police were called to a report of shots fired near Bells Point in La Ronge. RCMP responded and located a man, who was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police released the deceased man’s name as Eric Bouchard, 32. Police said Bouchard was reaised in Buffalo Narrows with his hometown being La Ronge and Stanley Mission.
Kurt Ratt, 20, and River Miller, 22, were charged with first degree murder and assault, They will appear in La Ronge provincial court Thursday. Three people had been arrested but a third person was released.
