Heading to the lake, to work, practice or just hanging around home, today is the day to make time for a run to Dairy Queen for the annual DQ Miracle Treat Day. Into its 23rd year, 100% of the net proceeds from every purchase of a Dairy Queen Blizzard Treat in Saskatchewan will be donated to the Jim Pattison Children’s Hospital.
Since 1984, Dairy Queen has played an integral role to Children’s Miracle Network in Canada contributing over $54 million in support of local children’s hospital foundations across Canada. Last year, Saskatchewan raised $249,000 from 53 locations. Donations in 2025 will help fund specialized pediatric health care at the Jim Pattison Children’s Hospital and across Saskatchewan. The generosity of DQ lovers on Miracle Treat Day helps support over 83,000 children and moms-to-be from 575 Saskatchewan communities who visit the Children’s Hospital located in Saskatoon.
Enjoy a DQ Blizzard today (Thurs. August 14) or make a donation at your local DQ store.
