SASKATOON — A man is facing several weapons-related charges after a call for service Saturday night.
Around 9 p.m. on Sept. 6, Saskatoon Police Service received reports of a man armed with a hatchet who was looking into the yards of residences in the 600 block of 20th Street West.
Officers located a man matching the description and found him in possession of a hatchet and a butterfly knife.
The 31-year-old is charged with possession of a prohibited weapon, possession of a dangerous weapon, carrying a concealed weapon, and carrying a concealed prohibited weapon. He was also arrested on outstanding warrants.
