WEYBURN — On Sept. 5, Weyburn police responded to a report of a fight in progress behind an apartment building, resulting in charges against two adult males.
Officers were dispatched to the scene and arrived to find the individuals engaged in a physical confrontation. Police separated the men and took both into custody.
According to Weyburn Police Service, one of the men was reported to assault the other, prompting the second individual to pull a knife and threaten to stab him. As a result, one man has been charged with assault, while the other faces a charge of assault with a weapon.
Police say the two are known to each other, and no injuries were reported.
