REGINA — If you’re heading to the REAL District this Saturday, prepare for a busy day. The area will be buzzing with activity as several major events converge, drawing thousands of visitors.
The Saskatchewan Roughriders are set to take on the Montreal Alouettes at Mosaic Stadium, but the football game is just one part of a packed schedule. The Regina Farmer’s Market will be open during the day, offering fresh local produce and artisan goods. Nearby, the Galaxy Psychic Fair will be welcoming guests interested in tarot readings, astrology, and other metaphysical experiences.
Sports fans will also have their eyes on the Co-Operators Centre, where the University of Regina Cougars men’s hockey team hosts Manitoba in what’s expected to be a competitive matchup.
And to cap off the evening, country music superstar Keith Urban will perform at the Brandt Centre, bringing his high-energy show to Regina as part of his latest tour.
With so many events happening in one area, the REAL District is advising attendees to consider alternative transportation. Parking will be limited throughout the day, and transit, carpooling, or biking are recommended to help ease congestion.
