Regina police have arrested a 70 year-old man in connection to a string of vehicle thefts dating back to June of 2018.
Police say their investigation involved four separate stolen vehicles believed to be associated with a sales an rental company on the 3000 block of Dewdney Avenue. The suspect was found on Tuesday in a 5th stolen vehicle from Calgary.
After a search warrant was executed, stolen vehicle parts and other evidence connected to the investigation was located.
70 year-old Maurice Aubichon of Saskatchewan Beach faces 12 charges, including five counts of possession of property obtained by crime over $5,000, and four counts of trafficking property obtained by crime. He will appear in court on October 31st.
