SASKATOON — A 44-year-old Saskatoon man is in custody and facing charges following an evade police incident.
At approximately 1:35 p.m., Sept. 22, police received an emergency call regarding someone who wanted to harm himself.
Upon arrival to the home in the 100 block of Tucker Crescent, officers located a man inside a vehicle in the garage. The man refused to exit the vehicle and instead fled in the car, striking fences and nearly missing officers.
The male driver then attempted to evade officers before nearly missing police cars and ending up on a neighbourhood lawn in the Salisbury Drive area.
The man was brought into custody without further incident.
Charges are pending.
