SASKATOON – Saskatoon police responded to an aggravated assault yesterday afternoon.
At approximately 12:30 p.m., Oct. 1, patrol officers responded to a report that two people were injured by a machete in the 10 block of Matheson Place. Both went to hospital for treatment of serious injuries.
As a result, two nearby schools were placed into a perimeter lockdown as a precaution, but, police say, there was no immediate danger to students or staff.
