A Regina business is creating cloth masks for those who need them as the battle against COVID19 continues.
Dean Renwick is making the masks at his downtown Regina studio with his mother and two sisters.

Renwick was trying to think of his ways he could help after having to let staff go. An attempt to make cloth masks for healthcare workers was unsuccessful because of regulations, but he then realized he could go another route with the masks and the idea caught fire.
“I woke up one morning and said we really need to help seniors.” Renwick said.” The senior homes are all privately owned and have different policies and procedures. I had my sister call around to several different homes and in about 20 minutes, we had orders for over 200 masks. At that time, I realized this was something big that had to be taken care of.
Renwick, whose designer studio is located right across the street from 620 CKRM, says they are being kept busy as they have churned out over 1000 masks so far with more being made each day and picked up.
With the masks being given away. Renwick is hoping the community can come through with donations of material and cash so he can keep going.
