REDCROSS – Saskatchewan RCMP Major Crimes are investigating a suspicious death.
On Oct. 11, Turtleford RCMP received a report of a seriously injured man lying beside Highway 21, north of Redcross. There were no vehicles around that the man could be associated to.
RCMP officers and EMS immediately responded. The man was transported to hospital by EMS. He died on Oct. 15 and as his death is considered suspicious. Saskatchewan RCMP Major Crimes has taken carriage of the ongoing investigation.
He has been identified as 25-year-old Chance Oseemeemow, from Big Island Cree Nation. His family has been notified.
This man’s death is considered suspicious. As a result, Saskatchewan RCMP Major Crimes has taken charge of the investigation.
RCMP are releasing Chance’s name to help further the investigation. Investigators are asking anyone with information about this investigation to report it to Turtleford RCMP at 310-RCMP.
