Mix in the sound of brass instruments, the drums, woodwinds and cheering, singing and you have a quick glance at a performance on game day with the 620 CKRM Saskatchewan Roughrider Pep Band. This Saturday afternoon at Coors Light Party in the Park, the Rider Pep Band will join forces with 185 students from Miller Catholic Comp High School. It is going to be amazing as they pay tribute to not just the football club, but to cancer survivors and those that have gone before us battling cancer. It is a celebration in Rider Nation as the football club celebrates the season of razzle dazzle heading into the playoffs.
Rory Allen will be performing O Canada. Rory will also be at Party in the Park for an Elvis look-a-like contest. There is still time to rock your Green Suede Shoes and put on your jump suit. Kick off is at 5pm so get to the park early and enjoy the fun and games. Gather autographs, buy your Cameco Touchdown for Dreams $20 toque, dance and sing with the Pep Band. Have a beer on a beautiful fall day for $5. Meet your friends and enjoy a day of sports as the Riders prep for that home field advantage on November 8th for the Western Final.
Listen into to Stacey and Charlene to find out how this flash mob is going to unfold Saturday, October 25 at the Coors Light Party in the Park. #GoRiders
