HERBERT — A “semi pile-over” west of Herbert has slowed traffic on Highway 1, according to information posted Friday afternoon on the Saskatchewan Highway Hotline.
The advisory, issued around 12:20 p.m. on Oct. 24, said the incident occurred about six kilometres west of Herbert in the westbound lane. Traffic has been reduced to one lane, with flag personnel on site directing vehicles through the area.
Motorists are urged to reduce speed, be prepared to stop and obey all instructions from flaggers while passing through the affected zone.
The Highway Hotline update warned drivers to “use caution while passing” as crews continue to manage the scene and clear debris.
