SASKATOON – Three youths, ages 14, 15 and 17, are in custody and facing charges following an armed robbery that occurred at a business last night.
At approximately 9:45 p.m., Oct. 28, police were called to the business in the 600 block of 8th Street East.
It was reported that three males had entered, threatened staff with a handgun, stole product and the employee's cell phone and fled in two vehicles.
Officers were able to locate the vehicles and arrest the three youths at 33rd Street West and Matheson Drive and in the 3100 block of 33rd Street West.
The 14-year-old male youth is facing charges of armed robbery and breach of recognizance.
The 15-year-old male youth was wanted on seven outstanding criminal code warrants and is facing charges of armed robbery and two counts of breach of a youth conditional discharge.
The 17-year-old male youth is charged with armed robbery and breach of release order.
The victim was not physically harmed.
