The Saskatchewan Roughriders are once again setting the standard across the Canadian Football League. The Green and White landed a league-best nine players on the 2025 All-CFL team — the most in franchise history — surpassing the previous record of seven, set back in 1967.
For the first time since 1969, the Riders boast three All-CFL offensive linemen, while the defence — a unit that allowed the fewest points in the league — placed five players on the national honour roll.
DEFENSIVE DOMINANCE
Micah Johnson – defensive tackle
At 37 years old, Johnson continues to redefine what longevity looks like in the trenches. The veteran earns his fifth career All-CFL nod — and second as a Rider — after anchoring one of the league’s most physical defensive fronts. Johnson’s six sacks in 2025 matched his total from last season, further cementing his reputation as one of the CFL’s most feared interior defenders.
Jameer Thurman – linebacker
In just his second season in green, Thurman has become the heartbeat of the Rider defence. The captain earns his first All-CFL selection after posting 86 defensive tackles, three sacks, and three interceptions. His all-around play and leadership made him the first Rider middle linebacker in over a decade to earn league honours.
C.J. Reavis – cover linebacker
Few players embody versatility like Reavis. For the second straight year, he’s the CFL’s top cover linebacker, making plays in every phase — coverage, run support, and blitz packages. Reavis recorded 61 tackles, five knockdowns, and forced two fumbles, while even stepping in at safety late in the season.
Rolan Milligan Jr. – defensive halfback
The reigning Most Outstanding Defensive Player remains a standout. Milligan Jr. follows up his 2024 campaign with another All-CFL selection after hauling in four interceptions and returning one for a 64-yard touchdown.
Tevaughn Campbell – cornerback
Regina Rams alumnus Campbell has earned his first All-CFL appearance after leading the league in interceptions (six) despite missing four games. Campbell was electric with the ball in his hands, racking up 205 interception return yards — second-most in team history — and scoring twice, including a 112-yard pick-six against Winnipeg.
OFFENSIVE STANDOUTS
KeeSean Johnson – receiver
In his second season with the Riders, Johnson proved to be everything the Riders hoped for — reliable, explosive, and clutch. Johnson hauled in 86 passes for 1,159 yards and four touchdowns, finishing top-five in both receptions and yards. His 39 second-down catches led the CFL.
Logan Ferland – centre
The pride of Melfort continues to set the bar high. After earning accolades as a guard last season, Ferland transitions seamlessly to centre and earns back-to-back All-CFL honours. The versatile leader anchored an offensive line that was twice named the CFL’s top unit, earning top grades from Pro Football Focus throughout the season.
Jacob Brammer – right guard
Second-year standout Brammer rounds out the interior trio after a breakout campaign at right guard. Brammer’s steady play helped Saskatchewan allow the second-fewest sacks in the league and paved the way for A.J. Ouellette’s 1,222-yard rushing season.
Jermarcus Hardrick – right tackle
Hardrick brought a championship pedigree and edge to the offensive line in his second season in Riderville. A two-time All-CFL pick in Winnipeg, Hardrick earns the nod once again — this time as the Riders’ top-graded lineman on multiple weekly CFL Honour Rolls.
The Saskatchewan Roughriders host the B.C. Lions Saturday in the West Final. The Countdown to Kickoff on the Co-operators 620 CKRM Rider Broadcast Network begins at 2:30 p.m.
