NORTH BATTLEFORD – Saskatchewan RCMP Major Crimes unit is continuing its investigation into the homicide of 26-year-old Jordon Daniel Boire.
Boire was last seen in Saskatoon on the afternoon of Jan. 19, 2021. Later that same evening, emergency crews responded to a fire at an abandoned home located approximately 30 kilometres northeast of North Battleford, north of the junction of Highways 687 and 378. The remains of an individual discovered inside the structure were identified as Boire.
“Investigators continue to follow up on tips and information received,” Saskatchewan RCMP media relations confirmed in an email Wednesday. “To be mindful of the integrity of this active and ongoing investigation, we are currently unable to provide additional details.”
Anyone with information about Boire's death, and the circumstances surrounding it, is asked to report it to police by calling 310-RCMP.
"The smallest detail could make a difference," said Saskatchewan RCMP.
