LLOYDMINSTER – The Saskatchewan Internet Child Exploitation (ICE) Unit has charged a Lloydminster man with child exploitation offences.
On Nov. 4, the Saskatchewan ICE Unit executed a search warrant at a home in Lloydminster. Electronic devices were examined at the scene and also seized by investigators.
As a result of the investigation, a 21-year-old man, from Lloydminster, was charged on Nov. 4, with the following:
- One count of making child sexual abuse and exploitation material (formerly known as making child pornography;
- One count of accessing child sexual abuse and exploitation material (formerly known as accessing child pornography;
- Two counts of making child sexual abuse and exploitation material available to others (formerly known as making child pornography available to others;
- Three counts of possession of child sexual abuse and exploitation material (formerly known as possession of child pornography;
The accused was released on court-imposed conditions. His next court date is on Nov. 17 at 9:30 a.m. at Lloydminster Provincial Court.
