REAL’s budget:
The Regina Exhibition Association Limited (REAL) is requesting $10.8 million from Regina in 2026 and 2027.
Per their budget, REAL is expecting a revenue of $53.8 million, with nearly 83 per cent coming from the organization, while 17 per cent comes from the city and province.
REAL's ask for $10.8 million in 2026 is $400,000 lower than their final approved budget in 2025.
“The total operating ask will be reduced by one million dollars, and the debt funding will be reduced by $0.6 million for a total of $1.6 million subsidy reduction. This will be partially offset by an additional capital subsidy of $1.2 million contractually required to replace the turf in the AffinityPlex,” states the report.
REAL’s budget is only a submission and won’t be finalized until budget week in December.
