REGINA — A 43-year-old woman is the fourth person charged in connection with a fatal shooting that occurred earlier this month in Regina, marking the city’s eleventh homicide of the year.
Dana Delorme, 43, is charged with accessory after the fact to murder in the death of a 19-year-old man who was found with a gunshot wound at a home in Regina's Heritage Neighbourhood, in the 1000 block of 12thAvenue just before 1 a.m. on Nov. 1.
Emergency responders pronounced him dead at the scene.
Delorme is scheduled to appear in Regina Provincial Court Thursday morning.
Over the weekend, a 16-year-old boy was arrested and charged with second-degree murder, possession of a firearm contrary to a prohibition order, and failing to comply with an undertaking. He can’t be identified due to the Youth Criminal Justice Act.
Two others were previously arrested. Trevor Whitequill, 44, is charged with accessory after the fact to murder. A 17-year-old girl is charged with accessory after the fact to murder, unauthorized possession ofa firearm, and possession of a firearm contrary to a prohibition order.
Regina Police Service say the investigation is ongoing.
