SASKATCHEWAN — SaskTel has partnered with a wellness resource app designed to support mental well-being.
Customers of SaskTel and Lüm Mobile can now get free access to Calm, a leading mental health app which offers hundreds of supportive tools, including guided meditation, soundscapes music and mindful exercise to help relieve anxiety and stress.
“Through this opportunity, our government recognizes that SaskTel is taking an important step forward in promoting daily mental wellness– whether at home, at work, or out in our communities,” said Jeremy Harrison, Minister Responsible for SaskTel.
Harrison added that access to mindfulness and stress-reduction sources will empower individuals to improve their well-being.
“Supporting the mental wellness of our customers is a natural extension of SaskTel’s commitment to being a caring and community-focused company,” said Charlene Gavel, SaskTel president and CEO.
Gavel said the collaboration with Calm helps people across Saskatchewan tune out daily distractions and connect with what matters most to them.
“At Calm, we’re on a mission to make mental health support accessible to everyone,” said David Ko, CEO of Calm.
SaskTel wireless customers can activate the Calm premium membership by texting “Calm” to 42256 (4CALM). This will validate as a SaskTel wireless customer and sent a direct link to a Calm premium membership.
Meanwhile, Lüm Mobile customers can activate the membership in their myLüm account.
