The shooting deaths of two cattle in southwestern Saskatchewan are under investigation by the RCMP.
On the evening of November 4, Ponteix RCMP received a report that a cow had been shot at a rural property near Ponteix, and it later died.
Mounties are also investigating an incident where a cow was shot and killed on July 7, at a different rural property in the Ponteix area.
Police are trying to determine whether the cows were targeted, or mistakenly shot.
However, there's no indication the two incidents are related.
Anyone with information on these incidents is asked to contact the Ponteix RCMP, or Crime Stoppers.
