MEADOW LAKE — Meadow Lake RCMP are searching for two suspects following a firearm discharge in the community.
On Nov. 19 at approximately 1 a.m., Meadow Lake RCMP received a report of a firearm discharged in Meadow Lake.
The investigation determined a man was riding a bike near the intersection of 2 Street West and 3 Avenue West in Meadow Lake. A second man, who was walking with a woman, discharged a firearm in the cyclist’s direction. The cyclist was not physically injured. The male and female suspects were last seen on foot heading towards 2 Street West. Officers responded and made patrols in the area searching for the man and woman. At this time, the suspects have not been located.
At the time of the incident, the male suspect was described as wearing a grey hoodie and the female was described as wearing a black coat. Meadow Lake RCMP continue work to locate and arrest the suspects and are asking the public for their assistance.
Anyone who has information about this incident, or who witnessed suspicious activity in the area of 2 Street West and 3 Avenue West in the early hours on Nov. 19, is asked to report it to police by calling 310-RCMP.
