REGINA — A 20-year-old man is the fifth person charged in connection to a homicide that occurred on Nov. 1.
Police say the ongoing investigation has resulted in the arrest of 20-year-old Jayden Oochoo. He is charged with accessory after the fact to murder and will appear in Regina Provincial Court on Nov. 20.
Four others have also been charged in this investigation.
A 16-year old boy is charged with second-degree murder. He can’t be named due to the Youth Criminal Justice Act. A 17-year-old girl is charged with accessory after the fact to murder and two firearms-related offences.
Trevor Whitequill, 44, and Dana Delorme, 43, are charged with accessory after the fact to murder.
Shortly before 1 a.m. on that day, police were dispatched to a home in the 1000 block of 12th Avenue. When police arrived, they found a 19-year-old man who was the victim of a gunshot wound. EMS declared the man deceased on scene.
