“Canada’s national average price of gasoline was little changed over the last week, with provinces nearly split between those seeing increases and those seeing declines,” said Patrick De Haan, head of petroleum analysis at GasBuddy. “The biggest jumps came from British Columbia, Saskatchewan, and Newfoundland, while Alberta saw a substantial decline. As seasonal demand continues to ease and oil prices remain relatively steady near $60 per barrel, we could see additional relief at the pumps – especially with refinery maintenance season now wrapping up.”
