SOUTHERN SASKATCHEWAN — Winter weather is causing issues on highways in south Saskatchewan on Nov. 17.
According to the Ministry of Highways and Infrastructure’s Highway Hotline, highways in the Estevan area are covered with heavy snow and have reduced visibility. As of 7:30 a.m., the Estevan area was the only one reporting reduced visibility.
Highways in the Regina area are largely listed as bare, although Highways 48 and 33 are shown as partially covered. Highway 1 is partially covered from the east Wolseley access to the Manitoba border, and from Gull Lake to the Alberta border.
A snowfall warning remains in effect for portions of the southwest, including the Shaunavon area.
