REGINA — A 35-year-old Regina man is in custody charged with attempted murder after an altercation in a Retallack Street home in the city’s North Central area that left another man with life-threatening injuries.
The incident happened on the evening of Nov. 24. At about 7:30 p.m., city police were dispatched to a home in the 1400 block of Retallack Street for a report of an injured person. When they arrived, say police, they located an adult male victim inside the residence who was suffering from a stab wound to the neck. Officers provided first aid to the male victim until EMS arrived and transported him to the hospital with what appeared to be serious, life-threatening injuries.
Innocent Sadiki has been charged with attempted murder. He appeared in Regina Provincial Court on Nov. 26.
