REGINA — The Hospitals of Regina Foundation has revealed its top winners for the fall 2025 home lottery.
Christian Flaman of Regina took home the grand-prize $1.7 million home in the Creeks. The home is over 4,400 square feet and comes with a wine cellar, two garages, a projector, and more.

The 50/50 prize of over $535,000 was paid out to Regina resident Gerard Mydan.

Mydan said he found out about winning while at the Canadian Western Agribition on Thursday night.
“[My] phone rang. Of course, it was so noisy that I didn't bother answering it. But then my wife got a text from one of her friends. ‘What's Gerald's last name?’ And then her friend calls her, and then I get another call. So she says, Gerry, there's something going on.”
Mydan said he plans on using the winnings towards a new car and potentially upgrading his home.
As for other winners, the early bird prize recipient of $100,000 and Balgonie resident Dorianne Piller said she had been taking care of her two daughters when she received a call from the Hospitals of Regina Foundation.

“I had a few missed calls and a voicemail. So I called back with two babies and diapers running around, screaming.”
“It was a bit of a chaotic normal night… in our house. But yeah, very thankful for that phone call,” she added.
Piller said this money will help pay off debts, including car loans.
Despite having debt, Piller said it’s important for everyone to give back to the community when they can.
Lastly, the membership loyalty prize of $10,000 went to Yorkton resident Amanda Roden.
Dino Sophocleous, Hospitals of Regina Foundation president and CEO, said the fall lottery sold roughly 45,000 tickets and approximately 23,000 purchases.
“[So], we're very pleased that this community continues to support our programs and this foundation. We are the only foundation in Regina that supports health care directly.”
The money earned will go towards children’s health, which includes their pediatric services in Regina’s General Hospital and surgical programs.
The Hospitals of Regina Foundation supports 20,000 children yearly.
As for the lottery, the remaining winners will be announced on Dec. 12.
