REGINA — Winter Wonderland presented by SaskTel Cares is returning to the Conexus Arts Centre on Sunday, Nov. 30, with the annual Winter Wonderland Family Gathering set for 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.
Families will be able to take part in activities throughout the centre, including sleigh rides with Prairie Percherons, photos with Santa, a visit with the Mean One, letter-writing to the North Pole, ornament decorating with Sticks and Doodles, snacks and hot chocolate from Tim Hortons, coffee from McDonald’s and crafts with the Regina Public Library, Dunlop Art Gallery, SaskPower and the City of Regina. The event will also feature performances by Sterling Productions, with Play 92 broadcasting live on location.
New additions this year include a sensory area provided by Joshua Learning Tree, classic holiday short films presented by Moonlight Cinemas and a special appearance by Jack Frost.
Admission is $20 per family, with all proceeds supporting the Regina Food Bank. Organizers note that cost should not prevent anyone from attending and encourage families to reach out if admission is a barrier.
Tickets are available at conexusartscentre.ca.
Winter Wonderland is supported by SaskTel Cares, SGEU, Campbell Haliburton, Harvard Media, Miller Thompson, Fieldview Financial with Sun Life and Sterling Productions. Their contributions help bring holiday programming to the community while providing meaningful support to the Regina Food Bank, organizers said.
Last year’s Family Gathering welcomed 700 guests and helped raise the equivalent of more than 58,000 meals for the Regina Food Bank. Organizers say they hope to build on that success in 2025.
