SASKATOON — A second person has been arrested in connection with the homicide of Chad Romanski, 31, from June of this year.
Saskatoon Police Service say a 39-year-old man was taken into custody on Dec. 3. He is charged with first-degree murder, kidnapping, and several firearm offences. Saskatoon police didn’t release his name.
Romanski's remains were found near Highway 7 on June 4. Following a forensic examination and investigation, the circumstances surrounding his death are being treated as a homicide, say police.
On Dec. 2, the Saskatoon Police Service’s Warrant Enforcement Unit arrested the first suspect. He is charged with aggravated assault, kidnapping, and first-degree murder.
