PRINCE ALBERT — The death of a 41-year-old man over the weekend in Prince Albert has been ruled a homicide.
Prince Albert Police Service Major Crimes Unit (MCU) is investigating the man’s death as the city’s sixth homicide of 2025.
On Dec. 6, at approximately 3:45 p.m., police were called to a home in the West Flat area of the city, in the 700 block of 18th Street West, for a call for service involving a theft. While attending that call, officers located a deceased adult male inside the residence.
On Dec. 8, members of the Major Crimes Unit (MCU) and Forensic Identification Section (FIS) executed a search warrant at a residence in the 700 block of 18th Street West. An autopsy was also completed on Dec. 8.
At this time no arrests have been made in relation to this homicide.
