NORTH BATTLEFORD — RCMP are investigating after two people were found dead in a house in North Battleford Sunday morning.
On Dec. 14, at about 8:30 a.m., Battlefords RCMP responded to a report of an injured male at a residence on 110th Street in the city, where two injured males were found, and who were declared deceased by EMS at the scene.
RCMP say they are unable to provide additional details about the deceased males until their identities have been confirmed, and their families have been notified.
Both deaths are considered suspicious and the Saskatchewan RCMP Major Crimes unit is now in charge of the investigation.
Saskatchewan RCMP Major Crimes is asking anyone who lives in the 110th Street area to check their home security cameras and doorbell cameras between 5 a.m. and 9 a.m. on Dec. 14. If your device captured images or videos of suspicious activity, please report it to police immediately. Information can be reported to Saskatchewan RCMP by calling 310-RCMP. Investigators advise there will be an increased police presence in the 110th Street area of North Battleford for an undetermined amount of time. Police say that if an imminent risk to public safety is identified, they will notify the public.
