REGINA — Average retail gasoline prices in Regina have fallen 2.0 c/L in the past week, averaging 124.49 c/L Sunday, according to GasBuddy's daily survey of 82 gas outlets in Regina.
This compares with the national average that has fallen 2.0 c/L in the last week to 124.95 c/L, according to gasoline price website GasBuddy.com.
“For the third straight week, the national average price of gasoline in Canada has fallen, putting it on the cusp of dipping below 125 cents per litre for the first time since April 2021,” said Patrick De Haan, head of petroleum analysis at GasBuddy. “Prices are declining in nearly every province, with Alberta the lone exception seeing a modest uptick. With refinery maintenance largely wrapped up and fuel production rising, gasoline supply is improving at the same time that easing oil prices are reducing cost pressures. As a result, Canadians could see gas prices continue to edge lower as we move toward the end of 2025.”
Including the change in gas prices in Regina during the past week, prices yesterday were 21.2 c/L lower than the same day one year ago and are unchanged versus a month ago. The national average has decreased 9.8 c/L during the last month and stands 22.5 c/L lower than this day one year ago.
