REGINA — Sask Express has cancelled its remaining performances of The Hunchback of Notre Dame after the organization raised concerns related to an employee.
In a statement released by its board, Sask Express said it recently became aware of a situation involving an employee that caused “significant concern.” As a result, the organization cancelled upcoming shows “out of an abundance of caution” while the matter is assessed.
“Our priority is maintaining a safe and secure environment for our community,” the board said, adding that updates will be provided as the process moves forward.
The cancellations affect performances scheduled from Dec. 12 to 17. In addition to shows in Regina, performances in Yorkton on Dec. 15 and Moose Jaw on Dec. 17 have also been cancelled.
Sask Express apologized for the inconvenience and said all ticket holders will automatically receive a full refund to their original payment method within 10 to 14 business days.
No further details about the situation were provided.
SaskToday will have more on the story as information becomes available.
