REGINA – Regina International Airport says it will be adjusting its schedule of fees and charges next year.
The new fees take effect starting June 1, 2026, with the most notable change being to the Passenger Facility Fee for departing passengers at YQR.
That will go up from $30 to $40, plus applicable taxes. The airport also says in a news release they will maintain one of the lowest landing and terminal fees
in the country, and there will be no increase for airlines serving YQR.
James Bogusz, President and CEO of Regina Airport Authority, said in a statement that they will continue to invest the Passenger Facility Fee on infrastructure, projects and initiatives to enhance the airport for the entire region.
“As southern Saskatchewan continues to grow, demand for air travel is expanding. We must ensure that our safety and security infrastructure, air service development investments and passenger experience keeps pace with demand,” said James Bogusz, President and CEO of Regina Airport Authority. “By maintaining a low-cost environment for the airlines, this further encourages them to grow their capacity in southern Saskatchewan.”
