QU'APPELLE — Skate the Park at Echo Valley Provincial Park opens Dec. 26.
Skate the Park will be lit up with thousands of twinkling lights and will feature a new Winter Olympics theme that includes a podium spot to take the perfect family photo. Adaptive kicksleds are available on a first-come first-serve basis. A tipi warming shelter with a wood-burning stove will also return this year.

Visitors can try the Ninja Warrior Course, crokicurl rink, illuminated snowshoe trail and cross-country skiing.
Back2Nature Wellness offers a toasty warm experience with its wooden-barrel sauna, the perfect chance to warm up after a day in the snow. Reservation required.
The visitor centre will have a variety of drinks and snacks from the concession, and Sask Parks apparel will be available for purchase.
Skate the Park Hours of Operation:
Monday to Thursday: 8 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.
Friday: 8 a.m. – 7 p.m.
Saturday: 10 a.m. – 8 p.m.
Sunday and Statutory Holidays: 10 a.m. – 5 p.m.
Visitors can turn their experience into a winter getaway and stay in one of the propane-heated Camp-Easy Yurts or book an electric campsite.
Earth To Sky also offers glamping domes in the park, for those seeking a more pampered experience.

Know Before You Go
A valid park entry permit is required to visit provincial parks year-round. Saskatchewan Provincial Parks Annual Entry Permits are available at a discounted rate of $45 and are valid until April 30.
