SASKATOON — A 49-year-old man was taken to hospital early Tuesday morning following an assault and robbery in a Centre Mall parking lot.
Saskatoon Police Service say that at about 3 a.m. on Dec. 30, they were dispatched to the mall in the 3300 block of Eighth Street East. Their investigation learned that a man had met a man and two women in the area and he had given them a ride to the mall parking lot.
When they arrived at the mall, the man was pulled from his vehicle by one of the suspects and injured as he tried to hold on to the door. His injuries were described as non-life-threatening.
The suspects fled the scene in his vehicle, a green 1999 Toyota Tercell with teal rims.
Police say the male suspect is described as approximately 35 years old, wearing a blue sweater or jacket with a hood. One woman is described as approximately 35 years of age, wearing a white top and black leggings. There is no description available for the second female suspect.
