Caden Brown’s junior hockey journey is nearing its final chapter — and the next one will be written on the NCAA stage.
The Regina Pats forward has committed to play NCAA Division I hockey at Lindenwood University, beginning in the 2026–27 season, following the conclusion of his WHL career later this year. It’s a major milestone for the 20-year-old, and one that caps off a season where Brown has taken his game to another level.
The Prince George, B.C. product has been one of the Pats’ most consistent offensive weapons in 2025, sitting with 19 goals, tied for 12th in the WHL, and just one shy of the first 20-goal campaign of his career. That mark would also eclipse his previous WHL career high.
Brown currently leads Regina in scoring with 30 points (19G, 11A) in 29 games, and his production hasn’t gone unnoticed. Two hat tricks highlight his season, including a five-point night (3G, 2A) on November 8 in Moose Jaw. Over his last 14 games, Brown has found the scoresheet 11 times, piling up 17 points (10G, 7A) during that stretch.
Since arriving in Regina, Brown has posted 58 points (34G, 24A) in 70 games, bringing energy, finish, and a reliable presence to the Pats’ forward group. His WHL résumé spans stops with the Prince George Cougars, Everett Silvertips, and Regina Pats, where the 5-foot-11, 190-pound right-shot winger has amassed 140 points (71G, 69A) in 254 career games.
For Brown, the commitment to Lindenwood represents both validation and opportunity — a chance to continue his development at the Division I level while finishing what has been a productive and memorable junior career in Regina.
The Pats organization congratulated Brown and his family on the commitment, wishing him continued success down the stretch this season and as he prepares for the next step with the Lindenwood Lions.
For now, though, Brown’s focus remains where it’s been all season — producing, leading, and making the most of his final games in the Western Hockey League.
