BIENFAIT – One person has been charged following a Jan. 4 rollover that resulted in injuries.
According to an email from the Saskatchewan RCMP, on Jan. 4 at around 12:20 a.m., the Estevan RCMP received a report of a rollover on Range Road 2070 near Bienfait. Members of the Estevan Fire Rescue Service and Estevan Emergency Medical Service also responded.
The passenger was taken to hospital with injuries the RCMP described as non-life-threatening. The male driver of the vehicle was assessed by Estevan EMS at the scene. As a result of further investigation by the Estevan RCMP, the motorist was arrested and charged with what the RCMP said were "impaired driving-related offences".
The court information and date are pending, the RCMP said, so the police couldn't share any additional details at this time.
