YORKTON — A vehicle struck part of the West Broadway liquor store in Yorkton on Wednesday, Jan. 7, prompting a response from emergency crews.
According to a community update issued at 5:26 p.m., a vehicle drove into a section of the store earlier in the day. No injuries were reported, and all staff members, along with the individual involved, were not hurt.
Store officials say the incident resulted in minor product damage. Cleanup was completed, and the location has since returned to normal operations.
Yorkton RCMP and Yorkton Fire Protective Services attended the scene. The store thanked emergency responders and staff for their quick response, adding appreciation for the concern shown by members of the community.
Police have not released further details about the circumstances surrounding the incident.
