The Ag Transport Coalition reports week 22 saw performance improve for a second straight week, with CN and CPKC Rail combined supplying 94% of hopper cars ordered.
That's an improvement from the 88% order fulfillment performance seen in week 21.
System performance returns above the 90% performance threshold for the first time in six weeks.
In supplying 95% of cars ordered by shippers in week 22, CN saw performance improve from the 90% order fulfillment performance seen in week 21.
CN performance has now been at or above the 90% threshold for two consecutive weeks.
In supplying 93% of shipper orders this week CPKC saw performance improve from the 86% order fulfillment performance seen in week 21.
CPKC performance returns above the 90% performance threshold for the first time in four weeks.
