REGINA — A 19-year-old Regina man is facing multiple charges after a single vehicle rollover on Pinkie Road left three of his passengers injured, one of them unconscious, say police.
The crash occurred shortly after 6 a.m. on Jan. 11, near the intersection of Pinkie Road and 9th Avenue North. According to the Regina Police Service, a caller reported a vehicle with four occupants had struck a barricade and rolled into a ditch.
When officers arrived, they found the vehicle on its side in the ditch. The driver had gotten out and was standing nearby. One of the passengers, a 19-year-old woman, was unconscious. Two other male passengers were suffering from what appeared to be minor injuries. Regina Fire and Protective Services were called to assist in removing the unconscious female from the vehicle. All occupants were taken to hospital, where they were treated for their injuries and released.
The man was charged with four impaired driving-related offences.
He will appear in court on Feb. 4.
